Hello there. Your journey through the battle with TN is one that so few people understand. We would be honored to be a part of the process of getting you help. If you could please provide us with more information about where you live we would be happy to get you referred to an Upper Cervical Doctor in your area. Over the past 6 years our clinic has worked with around 40-50 patients with TN, Bells Palsy, and various types of undiagnosed facial pain. In our experience over 70% of the time patients notice a tangible improvement within the first 30 days of Upper Cervical Care. We hope to hear back from you soon.

Hello, I have been sffeuring with TN now for 2 years. I first started with Tegratol and than the pain went through it. I than had Vascular Decompression Surgery and that worked for 6 months leaving my lower jaw(mandibular nerve) parially numb. After 6 months the pain returned. We than jumped to Gamma Knife which has proven also not to have worked. I currently can hardly talk and on a liquid diet. Went for a second opinion and they recommended Mayo Clinic. Ready to do anything at this stage. Looking up flights to Mayo! Help?

That's great news that you are receiving NUCCA care. Proper Upper Cervical alignment is vital in allowing your body to heal at its optimum. I always explain to patients who have MS and are seeking information about NUCCA; NUCCA does not cure or "treat" MS, or any other condition. However, having your atlas out of alignment can magnify the symptoms associated with those health challenges. Patients that consult our office with MS often describe fatigue as a problem. After 30 days we do a re-evaluation. Often times patients will notice that, "Yes, I still get tired after walking. Yes, my balance isn't perfect. But, I can walk for 10 minutes further now before I have to sit down and I do feel more stable on my week."

Keep sticking with it. Remember, more visits does not make you better faster; although check-ups are important to make sure you are in alignment. Holding your adjustment is what matters the most. Be sure to check with your doctor about proper sleeping habits and daily activities to make sure you are not putting your upper cervical area under any undue stress.

I have MS. Since the worst flare-up in my history (40 yrs) took place this year I was determined to find a better solution. I did this by seeking the only NUCCA or Spinal Engineer in St. Louis. I consistently visited his office twice weekly for 8 weeks. I begin to feel better day by day. I missed one week and started to go backwards again. This last Thursday I returned and plan to never quit again. The Atlas is the super structure of our wonderful body's. Keep it in alignment and better health is possible. I have other friends that have MS. I have shared this info with them in hopes they can find the same relief. We can find a cure if we think outside the box. Many that suffer from this illness also had measles when they were children. Just wanted to get that out there too.
Thx-DS

Thanks! What a fine article. In my job, I am working many hours in front of my PC screen, and I feel back pain oftentimes. I learned about several ways to fight back pain and therefore, I created my own blog to offer a source for info and tips of how to relief back pain. Great contribution I was actually sent the link by a friend.
